1. IconFinder

URL: iconfinder.com

IconFinder is a free or paid search site for icons for your website.

This tool is useful because designing custom icons can be time consuming, and you may not have the icons you want on hand. Free icons can save a lot of time and money.

Head to iconfinder.com, type your search tearm just like Google, on the left-hand side of the next page, click “Free”, and look at all of the icons you can download.

2. Canva

Canva is a free or paid tool to create images for social media, email campaigns, or websites in specific dimensions.

This tool is useful if you don’t have Photoshop skills. Canva designs give you a nice starting point and are intuitive to change.

Head to canva.com, create a login, click “Create a design”, choose a type of design i.e. Facebook Post, or create a custom design using specific dimensions.

3. MapStyle

MapStyle is a way to create custom-colored Google maps for your website’s contact page.

Why use MapStyle? Use it as a way to keep your website on-brand. Now, you can use the same color scheme as your brand through your Google map.

It can take some work, but head to mapstyle.withgoogle.com, and put in the address of the place you want to customize. Zoom in or out as need, play with the sliders at the left and select a theme. To customize the colors, click “More Options”.

4. Adobe Color

Adobe Color is a way to build a color scheme for your design or website quickly based off of a single color.

Why is Adobe Color useful? If you don’t have a designer, or can’t decide on a color scheme, this can be a great way to play around and find something that speaks to you.

Head to color.adobe.com/create, and make sure you have a HEX color ready, such as #931B1D, then try it in all of the styles, like Monochromatic, Triad, Complementary, etc. or customize all of the colors.
